Deni Karpowich
Lives & works in Fernandina Beach, FL
Deni started her career in art over 30 years ago as a functional potter, then moved on to video production and cake decorating. After living full time with her husband on a sailboat in the Caribbean, they re-located to Fernandina Beach, FL. She's inspired by the "low country" natural environment full of marshes, tidal creeks, wildlife and the ocean. She draws from her surroundings and interprets those influences in her encaustic paintings.
